Zevlor has haste, and for {2} and a tap he sets up the next instant or sorcery you cast this turn. If that spell targets only a single opponent or a single permanent an opponent controls, you copy it once for each other opponent, choosing that player or one of their permanents as the new target. In a four-player game, one removal spell becomes three. The deck is built from cheap single-target interaction, burn and hand or library attacks, so every turn Zevlor untaps is a small one-sided board wipe.

In the recorded games, Zevlor mostly played control. Copied removal kept three boards in check at once, and Gitaxian Probe copied across the table showed every hand while drawing cards. Jeska's Will and Neverending Torment got the same treatment, with Torment exiling big chunks of every library. Faster lists ran Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Dauthi Voidwalker and an Underworld Breach plus Brain Freeze finish. The weak spots were the setup cost and timing: Zevlor needs mana held up and a good target, and Phyrexian Arena life loss plus early pressure from creature decks could punish a slow start.
