Zada, Hedron Grinder

$0.18

Zada copies any instant or sorcery that targets only her, once for each other creature the spell could target. A pump spell becomes a team pump, a cantrip draws a card per creature, and a ritual that targets makes mana for every body on the board. The more Goblins and tokens you have, the bigger each spell gets, so the deck spends its early turns going wide and then chains cheap targeted spells in one big turn.

In the recorded games, Goblin Instigator, Goblin Lackey and other cheap token makers built the board, while Heat Shimmer and Twinflame copied the whole team for a sudden swing. Chandra's Ignition copied across every creature doubled as a one-sided board wipe, and Blazing Shoal ended games outright. The deck is feast or famine: it needs both bodies and spells in hand at the same time. Board wipes, Propaganda and early removal on Zada slowed it down badly, and lower-budget builds lacked the mana to keep pace with faster decks.
