Yargle and Multani has no rules text. It is an 18/6 for six mana, and that power is the whole plan. A single unblocked hit deals 18 commander damage, which is only three short of the 21 needed. The deck ramps to cast it early, then uses equipment, auras and pump effects to add evasion or a few extra points of power. With only 6 toughness, it is vulnerable in combat and to damage-based removal, so it needs protection or a clear path.
In the recorded games, Rogue's Passage and Hot Soup made Yargle unblockable, and Commander's Plate added both size and protection. Demonic Embrace gave it flying, and Scepter of Celebration added trample plus a pile of Citizen tokens when it connected. One version used Greater Good with Feign Death to sacrifice the commander for 18 cards and still keep it. Opponents often avoided provoking the frog and spent removal on it as soon as it landed. Assassin's Trophy stopped a lethal swing, and a well-timed Blasphemous Act with Path to Exile kept it off the battlefield. The deck was simple and often on budget, so it lived or died on whether the big hit landed.
