When Wick or another Rat you control enters, you create a 1/1 black Snail if you have none, and otherwise put a +1/+1 counter on the Snail you have. In practice the deck feeds one Snail that keeps growing. For {U}{B}{R}, sacrificing a Snail makes Wick deal damage equal to its power to each opponent, then you draw that many cards. A 5-power Snail means 5 damage to every opponent and five new cards. Lists play Rats that make more Rats, plus counter effects to speed the Snail up.

In the recorded games, the deck mostly played as a slow build: Rats hit the board, the Snail grew, and the sacrifice turned into damage plus a refilled hand. Tangled Colony helped by leaving extra Rat tokens behind when it died. One memorable finish used Maskwood Nexus, which made every creature both a Rat and a Snail, so new creatures fed the engine and old ones could be cashed in. The plan is easy to read, so it drew attention, and opponents had answers like Hungry Lynx giving their Cats protection from Rats. The damage scaled well once the Snail got big.
