Whenever another nontoken artifact enters under your control, Ultron lets you pay {2} to make a token copy of it. If the copy isn't a creature, it also becomes a 2/2 Robot Villain. Copying a mana rock gives you a second rock that can attack, and copying an artifact with an enters trigger gives you that trigger twice. Because Ultron has no color identity, the deck runs only artifacts and colorless cards.
In the recorded games, copying Thran Dynamo early made the mana jump fast, and copies of Steel Overseer or Arcbound Ravager turned the Robot army into a real clock. Buried Ruin and other artifact recursion helped rebuild after removal. The board grew quickly and forced opponents to answer it. With no colored interaction, the deck leaned on colorless answers and was exposed to artifact wipes. The {2} tax per copy also made early turns clunky, so the deck tends to come online in the midgame.
