With four or more lore counters among your Sagas, Tom Bombadil has hexproof and indestructible. Once per turn, when a Saga's final chapter resolves, you reveal cards until you hit another Saga and put it onto the battlefield for free. Every finished Saga replaces itself, so the deck plays out a long chain of chapter triggers and keeps Tom protected once a couple of Sagas are down.
In the recorded games, the deck ran as close to Saga tribal as possible, with Urza's Saga and The Eldest Reborn among the typical picks. Better lists used proliferate to push counters at instant speed and animated Sagas to add extra triggers. Enchantment card draw kept its hand full. The five-color mana base was the main weakness, and a few games stalled while waiting for a missing color. Aggressive decks also got under it before the engine got going. When it worked, it won slowly through card advantage and a board that removal couldn't touch.
