The Fourth Doctor

You can look at the top card of your library at any time. Once each turn, The Fourth Doctor lets you play a historic land or cast a historic spell from there, and when you do, you create a Food token. Artifacts, legendaries and Sagas all count, so the deck is packed with them. Legendary lands such as Inventors' Fair are free hits, and each Food is another artifact for sacrifice effects, artifact counts or a few points of life in long games.

In the recorded games, the Doctor ground out value by casting historic cards off the top every turn, which kept the hand full and the board growing without spending cards. Food piled up, and many builds also made Clues to draw more. Inventors' Fair showed up to find an artifact threat for the last push, and Cultivate helped the ramp. The deck leaned on incremental pressure through combat rather than a fast combo. It struggled when faster, more aggressive Doctor decks raced it, and it could lose momentum after a strong start once the top of the library stopped giving historic cards.
