Thassa is indestructible and isn't a creature unless your devotion to blue is at least five, so she usually sits on the field as an enchantment that is very hard to remove. At the beginning of your end step, she exiles up to one other creature you control and returns it, which retriggers its enter-the-battlefield ability every turn. Her {3}{U} ability taps another creature, useful for holding back an attacker or blocker. The deck runs creatures with strong entry effects and plenty of counterspells and bounce.
In the recorded games, Fblthp, the Lost and Toothy, Imaginary Friend were the common blink targets, drawing a card or more each turn. Venser, Shaper Savant bounced key opposing pieces, and Ghostly Flicker and Aetherize gave instant-speed control. Games went long and the deck won by out-drawing the table rather than by fast damage. Its weakness was pressure. Relentless aggressive decks got through before the card advantage paid off, and with only nine recorded games, the results lean on a few matchups.
