Teval is a flying 4/4 that mills three cards whenever it attacks and can return a land from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped. Its second ability does most of the work: whenever one or more cards leave your graveyard, you create a 2/2 Zombie Druid. Replaying a land, escaping a spell, reanimating a creature or exiling a card all count. The deck fills its own graveyard, then empties it bit by bit, adding a body each time.
In the recorded games, the recurring pieces were Life from the Loam, Crucible of Worlds and Field of the Dead, backed by Hedron Crab and Nyx Weaver for extra milling. Some lists added Consecrated Sphinx and Mystic Remora for card draw. The deck is hard to beat in a long game because board wipes only slow it down. The weak spots were a slow start and a fragile commander: without protection for Teval, removal broke the engine early. Expect a grindy game won by a wide Zombie board.
