Every instant and sorcery you cast has casualty 1: as you cast it, you can sacrifice a creature with power 1 or greater to copy the spell. Removal hits two targets, token spells make twice the tokens, and reanimation brings back two creatures. Silverquill itself is a 4/4 flying, vigilant attacker. The deck plays spells that make small creatures so it always has fodder for the next copy.

In the recorded games, copied token spells snowballed into wide boards, and copied removal like Snuff Out swept key threats. Reanimate and Breach the Multiverse doubled were among the biggest turns. Nadier's Nightblade drained the table each time a token died, and Mother of Runes protected the key creatures. The deck played mostly as grindy midrange. It lost when faster combo decks raced it or when taxing effects like Danitha Capashen, Paragon and artifact removal slowed its spells down.
