Shattergang Brothers

$0.39

Shattergang Brothers has three activated abilities, each costing two generic mana plus a color. Sacrifice a creature with {B} and each other player sacrifices a creature. Do the same with an artifact for {R} or an enchantment for {G}. You choose cheap fodder like tokens, Treasure or small goblins, while opponents with few permanents lose something that matters. The deck runs token makers, death-trigger creatures and permanents that come back from the graveyard, so each activation costs you very little.

In the recorded games, the deck often played as goblin aggro with a sacrifice backbone. Goblin Warchief made goblins cheaper and gave them haste for fast starts, and Grenzo, Havoc Raiser goaded blockers or stole cards when attackers connected. Viscera Seer and High Market were free sac outlets, and the edicts repeatedly cleared blockers or stripped commanders off the board when they weren't protected by tokens. It worked best against decks with only a few key creatures. Go-wide boards could absorb the edicts with chump tokens, and the deck relied on a steady supply of fodder to keep going.
