O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami
$0.92
$0.92Legendary Creature — Dragon Spirit
Five-color midrange that punishes attackers, exiling a permanent from whoever swung at you with a flying, trampling 6/6 dragon.
O-Kagachi is a six-mana 6/6 with flying and trample. When it deals combat damage to a player who attacked you during their last turn, you exile a nonland permanent that player controls. That makes it a deterrent more than an engine: anyone who swings at you risks losing their best card. Builds vary a lot because five colors allow anything, but most lean on defensive creatures, removal and card draw to keep the table from attacking until O-Kagachi can take over.
In the recorded games, the lists were all over the place. Some ran a Kamigawa Spirit theme with That Which Was Taken protecting Myojin of Seeing Winds and Myojin of Life's Web. Others played Maze's End as an alternate win or Mob Rule for a big swing turn. Nikko-Onna got recast repeatedly to destroy enchantments, and Fog Bank held the ground. The exile trigger did change how opponents attacked. O-Kagachi's weakness was removal, since it has no protection. Luminous Bonds and Scour from Existence both took it out of the game and stalled the deck.
