Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist

$5.43

Mirri is a 3/2 first striker. Whenever she attacks, each opponent can block with only one creature that combat. While she is tapped, no more than one creature can attack you each combat. Attacking with Mirri breaks up blocking walls and also shields you on the way back. The deck plays efficient creatures, equipment and anthem effects, so a wide board can push damage through single blocks while opponents struggle to counterattack.

In the recorded games, the deck played as an aggressive go-wide list, often with a cat theme. Qasali Slingers and Beastmaster Ascension showed up, along with equipment to make Mirri and her team hit harder, and tokens kept attacks going. Evasive creatures and combat tricks let it trade well and keep pressure on. The defensive half of Mirri's text mattered too, since one attacker per combat slowed opponents' boards. With seven games recorded, the main danger was board wipes, which reset a deck that relies on many small creatures.
