Michelangelo is a two-mana 2/1 trampler with a raid trigger. At the beginning of your second main phase, if you attacked that turn, you put a +1/+1 counter on target creature and create a Food token. That rewards attacking every turn, even with a small creature, and the Food doubles as a token that other cards care about. The deck leans on counter doublers and token payoffs so one modest trigger each turn turns into real board growth.
In the recorded games, Michelangelo was almost always paired with Leonardo, the Balance. Every Food token triggered Leonardo, putting a counter on each creature you control, so the raid trigger effectively grew the whole team. High Score made each counter placement bigger and drew extra cards at end step. Some lists paired with Raphael, the Muscle instead, doubling damage from creatures with counters. The deck won by building a wide, sturdy board and attacking through it. Its weak spot was speed: faster combo decks could finish before the counters added up.
