Lightning is a three-mana 3/2 with first strike, trample and lifelink. When she deals combat damage to a player, Stagger kicks in: until your next turn, any source that would deal damage to that player or their permanents deals double instead. Because she hits in the first-strike step, your other attackers in the same combat already deal double, and so do burn spells and other opponents' attacks. Builds load her with equipment and add double strike so a small body turns into big numbers.
In the recorded games, she came down early and attacked right away, which pushed opponents to block or remove her fast. Lightning Greaves and Genji Glove kept her protected and swinging, Magistrate's Veto stopped white and blue creatures from blocking, and one game ended with Duelist's Heritage giving double strike for lethal commander damage. Staggering a player also invited the rest of the table to pile on. The weak spots were cheap removal on the equipped creature, artifact hate like Null Rod shutting off equipment, and defensive cards that kept her from attacking.
