Whenever you cast a creature spell, Karametra lets you search for a Forest or Plains card and put it onto the battlefield tapped. She is indestructible and only becomes a 6/7 creature once your devotion to green and white reaches seven. In practice she is a ramp engine that makes every cheap creature a Rampant Growth. The deck plays lots of low-cost creatures, elves and land payoffs to turn that extra mana into a wide board quickly.
In the recorded games, lists varied a lot: elf swarms aiming at Craterhoof Behemoth, enchantress shells with Herald of the Pantheon and Mirari's Wake, and even a stax version with Null Rod and Collector Ouphe. Whitemane Lion and Stonecloaker returning themselves let a player recast them for repeated land searches, while Oracle of Mul Daya, Amulet of Vigor and Rites of Flourishing pushed the ramp further. Doubling Season showed up in a token and planeswalker build. Mass creature removal was the main problem, and faster or more aggressive decks sometimes outpaced the steady buildup. Artifact removal like Aura Shards could also slow the early mana.
