Isshin doesn't grow or attack well himself. His job is to make every triggered ability that fires from a creature attacking trigger an additional time. Hellrider pings twice per attacker, Adriana, Captain of the Guard pumps twice, token makers make double, and annihilator strips twice as many permanents. It applies to anything you control, so equipment and enchantments with attack triggers count too.
In the recorded games the best cards were Hellrider, Adriana, Leonin Warleader, Voice of Victory, Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin and Fervent Charge. Equipment like Sword of Feast and Famine and Blade of Selves gave some decks explosive swings. Some lists added extra combats, or Panharmonicon to double enter triggers alongside attack triggers. The deck lost when a wider board swung back first, and Bribery stealing one of its big threats hurt. Isshin is a clear target, so expect opponents to aim removal at him. Games were fast and aggressive, often won in one or two big attacks.
