Whenever Hans Eriksson attacks, you reveal the top card of your library. A creature goes onto the battlefield tapped and attacking, and a noncreature card goes to your hand. The cheated creature then fights Hans, so anything big will usually kill your 1/4 commander. Decks pack the library with large creatures, stack the top of the deck when possible and protect Hans so he survives to attack again. Since you always draw the noncreature cards, a miss still gives you a card.
In the recorded games, the usual plan was to ramp, attack with Hans and set up big creatures on top of the library. Xenagos, God of Revels added haste and extra power for early pressure. One unusual build leaned on creatures with defender and won with Vent Sentinel and Fireball instead. Indestructible effects kept creatures alive through the fight in some games. The deck struggled with inconsistency when the top of the library didn't cooperate. Early pressure from opponents also hurt, since Hans has to attack into the table to do anything. With only a handful of games recorded, results were mixed.
