Whenever one or more of your creatures deal combat damage to a player, Gonti exiles the top card of that player's library face down. You can play it for as long as it stays exiled, and mana of any type can pay for it. On top of that, spells you cast but don't own cost {1} less. The deck fills up on evasive and unblockable creatures to connect every turn, plus other theft effects so the discount comes up often.
In the recorded games, small evasive creatures did most of the stealing. Shadowmage Infiltrator and Fallen Shinobi were common, and a ninjutsu Fallen Shinobi stacked two theft effects on a single hit. Thieving Skydiver kicked to take a Sol Ring was a strong early swing, and Villainous Wealth showed up as a big finisher. Lightning Greaves kept Gonti and other attackers safe. The deck's power depended on what opponents were playing, so it was at its best against decks full of strong cards. It often built up slowly and lost to decks with heavy card draw that simply outran its stolen value.
