At the beginning of your end step, Gluntch makes three gifts and you choose a different player for each. The first puts two +1/+1 counters on a creature they control, the second draws a card and the third creates two Treasure tokens. You can name yourself for one of them, so you keep one gift while the other two buy goodwill. The deck adds more symmetric value and buffs, then turns that goodwill into a win with a big flier.
In the recorded games, which were few, Gluntch mostly played the friendly role. It handed out counters, cards and Treasure early, and the whole table developed faster. The gifts shaped politics: players negotiated for them and were slower to attack the Gluntch player. When it won, Gluntch or another creature had grown big enough for a few combat swings after the opponents had spent their resources on each other. The obvious risk showed up too. Giving away free mana and cards helps whichever opponent can use them best, so the deck needs to time its turn from generous to aggressive.
