Whenever you attack, Ghalta and Mavren gives you a choice. You either create a tapped and attacking X/X trampling Dinosaur, where X is the greatest power among your other attackers, or X 1/1 lifelink Vampires, where X is the number of other attacking creatures. One big creature makes an equally big Dinosaur, and a wide board makes a wave of Vampires for next turn. The deck runs ramp, large creatures and pump effects so that every combat step adds to the board.
In the recorded games, the deck ramped into big Dinosaurs and swung early to start the token engine. The choice between modes mattered: a large Dinosaur when one creature was already huge, Vampires when the board was wide or life totals got tight. Opponents treated the attack trigger as a real threat and tried to answer it before the board snowballed. With only a handful of games, there is not much data on what reliably beat it, but the deck does need to attack every turn, so blockers and removal on its best creature slow it down.
