Elsha, Threefold Master

$0.37

Elsha is a 1/1 with trample and prowess. Each noncreature spell you cast gives her +1/+1 until end of turn, and when she deals combat damage to a player you create that many 1/1 white Monk tokens with prowess. Two or three cheap instants before combat turn her into a real attacker, and the trample damage turns directly into tokens. The deck plays a dense pile of low-cost instants and sorceries so every turn grows both Elsha and the Monks she already made.

In the recorded games, the deck built a wide board of Monks fast and then looked for one big combat. Coat of Arms and Shared Animosity made the tokens much larger, and Flying Crane Technique gave the team double strike for a lethal swing. Goblin Electromancer and Footfall Crater helped chain spells and push damage. It won quickly when opponents had no early blockers. Removal on Elsha slowed it down a lot, and effects that limit how many noncreature spells players can cast each turn hurt badly. Green ramp decks that built big blockers early could also outsize the Monks before they snowballed.
