Eminence is why Edgar is so strong: each time you cast another Vampire spell, you create a 1/1 Vampire token, even with Edgar still in the command zone. The deck develops a board from turn one without ever casting its six-mana commander. Once Edgar arrives he has haste and first strike, and every attack puts a +1/+1 counter on each Vampire you control, so the tokens grow every turn.
In the recorded games, cheap Vampires like Welcoming Vampire, Vampire Socialite and Legion Lieutenant filled the board early, and Coat of Arms or Vampire Nocturnus turned it lethal. Blood Artist, Sanctum Seeker and Impact Tremors added drain on the side, and several lists could close with Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond. Captivating Vampire and Olivia Voldaren handled problem creatures. Board wipes were the main threat, though eminence helped it rebuild fast. Artifact removal on early mana rocks also slowed it. It plays fast and aggressive.
