When Dogmeat enters, you mill five cards and return an Aura or Equipment card from your graveyard to your hand. Whenever a creature you control that's enchanted or equipped attacks, you create a Junk token, an artifact you can sacrifice at sorcery speed to exile the top card of your library and play it that turn. Dogmeat is a 3/3 for three, so the deck either suits it up or spreads gear across several attackers.
In the recorded games, Dogmeat was usually built as Voltron. Champion's Helm and Unflinching Courage made it a tough threat early, and the enter mill often found a strong Aura to return. Songbirds' Blessing pulled more Auras on attack, Pre-War Formalwear brought back small creatures, and Animal Friend went wide with tokens. Danitha Capashen, Paragon made the gear cheaper. Junk tokens added cards and blockers over a long game. The deck often became a target early, so exile removal like Putrefy or Taken by Nightmares stopped it. A single big creature also struggled against bigger boards.
