Whenever Bruna attacks or blocks, you may attach any number of Auras on the battlefield to her. You may also put Aura cards that could enchant her onto the battlefield from your hand and graveyard, attached to her. Those Auras are never cast, so counterspells don't stop them. The deck fills the graveyard with Auras, plays taxing enchantments to slow the table and then swings with a 5/5 flier that suddenly has five or six Auras attached.
In the recorded games, Bruna won by attaching a big pile of Auras at once. Battle Mastery and Security Bypass made her an unblockable double striker, while Spirit Mantle and Angelic Destiny made her bigger and protected her. Gift of Immortality helped her come back after removal. Control builds played Ghostly Prison, Propaganda and Thorn of Amethyst to slow opponents first. Opponents usually ganged up on Bruna early, since one attack could kill a player. At six mana she is slow, and wide token boards or targeted removal before combat were her biggest problems.
