Breeches, Brazen Plunderer

Breeches, Brazen Plunderer is a four-mana 3/3 with menace and partner. Whenever one or more Pirates you control deal damage to your opponents, you exile the top card of each of those opponents' libraries. You may play those cards that turn and spend mana as though it were any color. The deck runs evasive or cheap Pirates to connect every combat, then uses Treasures and spare mana to cast the stolen spells in the second main phase.

In the recorded games, Breeches was often partnered with Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator, which makes a Treasure for each opponent hit by Pirates. The pair turned each attack into both cards and the mana to cast them. Only eight games were recorded, and the builds varied from token swarms to blue counterspell decks. The best results came once the board was stable and the Pirates could attack freely. Wins came through combat with a big mana turn behind it. The plan depends on connecting, so blockers and sweepers slowed it badly.
