Asmo can be cast for a single {B/R} if you've discarded a card this turn, which makes it easy to land early. When it enters, it tutors The Underworld Cookbook, an artifact that discards a card to make a Food. Asmo turns Foods into removal: sacrifice two and a target creature deals 6 damage to itself. The deck plays madness, cycling and discard payoffs, along with creatures that come back from the graveyard, so each discard becomes a card, a Food or a damage trigger.
In the recorded games, the Cookbook usually came straight to hand and became the engine. The standout loop was Ovalchase Daredevil with the Cookbook: discard Daredevil to make a Food, and the new artifact returns Daredevil to hand. Glint-Horn Buccaneer turned each discard into damage against every opponent, and Pack Rat used discards to grow a board. Food sacrifices killed big creatures and kept the board under control. It won most often through slow attrition, and a few games stalled when the loops never came together.
