Every instant or sorcery you cast or copy makes Ashling loot one card. The second trigger in a turn deals 2 damage to each opponent and every creature they control, and the third adds {R}{R}{R}{R}. Red mana also stays in your pool as steps and phases end, so you can float mana from your upkeep into the main phase. The deck is built around cheap spells and copy effects, since a copy counts as a trigger too.
In the recorded games, Ashling played like a storm deck. Treasure made early turns bigger, and cantrips plus copy spells such as Fork pushed the trigger count up fast. The planned finish was a big Grapeshot or a pile of copied Lightning Bolts, with a Twinflame combo as backup. When the turn came together, the repeated 2-damage sweeps also wiped small boards. An early Force of Vigor from an opponent slowed one storm turn down, and slower value decks could outgrind Ashling once its burst was spent.
