When Aragorn enters, you become the monarch and draw an extra card each end step. He has vigilance and lifelink, and whenever he attacks one target creature can't block. If you're still the monarch, no creatures can block that turn. That makes the crown both a card engine and an attack plan, since every turn you hold it your whole board swings unblocked. The deck pairs efficient creatures with cheap removal and counterspells to keep the monarchy safe.
In the recorded games, Aragorn played as a reactive tempo deck that drew steadily off the crown. Parallax Wave, Galvanic Discharge and Lightning Bolt cleared the way, Stifle and counterspells protected key turns, and True-Name Nemesis applied pressure that was hard to stop. Some lists added Zealous Conscripts with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker as a combo finish. Wins came from steady unblockable attacks. Losses came from decks that went faster or were harder to interact with. Greasefang-style reanimation, quick burn starts and repeated artifact recursion outpaced it, and Blood Moon forced careful land fetching. Losing the crown also cost it both cards and its attack plan.
